George Foust's son, named here, Anthony FOUST, is father of Benjamin R.Foust, state legislator and businessman of Huntingdon County, PA. [Ref; History of Huntingdon County; J.S. Africa; 1883]
Catharine Foust RUPERT is first wife of (Johan) Adam RUPERT of Shirley Township and Licks Ridges, Henderson Township, Huntingdon County, PA and Franklin County, PA, Cumberland County, PA, originating from Rockland Township, Berks County PA. (Johan) Adam is son of Adam RUPPERT and grandson of Casper RUPPERT of Rockland Township, Berks County PA and Germany.

LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF GEORGE FOUST, DEC.
In the name of God Amen. I George FOUST of Shirley township Huntingdon County and State of Pennsylvania being sound in mind memory and understanding being.. Full of my mortality do make and .. To this my last will and Testament. First and principally, I recommend my immortal Spirit to God who gave it in hopes of a joyful resurrection and my body to the Earth when it shall please God to separate my Soul and body to be buried decently at the discretion of my executors-And as to such worldly estate wherewith I am ... of I gave and dispose as follows. ... it is my will and I do order direct all my Estate Real and Personal to be sold immediately after my decease if my Real estate cannot be sold for its value my Executors shall rent the farm until the can get an opportunity to sell it from the proceeds thereof all my just debts and my funeral expenses shall be paid. I do nominate and appoint my friends Jacob Sharar and Peter Ripple both of Shirley Township to be my Executors of the my last will and Testament- It is further my will and desire that my Daughter Christina OWE get fifty Dollars out of my Estate after my other Children have got there [sic.] respective Shares. The said Christina OWE is not to get the fifty Dollars during the natural life of her husband provided he should survive their children of said Christina is to get it equally divided amongst them when the youngest shall arrive at a lawful [sic] age to be put to Interest till that time by my Executors until that time- It is my desire and will that Catherine RUPERT get fifty Dollars and it is my will and desire that my Daughter Catherine RUPERT pay my Executors fifty Dollars for household furniture got of me. It is my desire that Elizabeth FOUST my Daughter receive fifty Dollars and Elizabeth shall pay my Executors forty dollars for household furniture got of me. It is my will and desire that my Daughter Ann be paid fifty dollars out of my Estate And that Anthony my son to get the young Bay Mare a Saddle and Bridle for his Summer work and my Son Samuel is to get twenty five Dollars and the house Bible to clothe him Exclusive of what shall herein after be allowed him. It is further my will - desire that the grain in the ground to be to the use of my Son Anthony provided he continues on the farm a year after my Decease if there should be any to spare from his use it shall be sold and applied to pay off any Debt for which Anthony my son is to leave as much grain in the ground. It is my desire and I order and direct that my sons David, John, Jacob, George, Anthony and Samuel Shall each of them receive fifty dollars respectively, Anthony my son is to have the Mare Bridle and Saddle before mentioned exclusive of the fifty Dollars. It is my further will and desire that after the above Legacies are discharged the remainder of my Estate if there should be any left I do order and direct that all and each of my Children that receive equal portions of the Balance except Christina OWE[sic.] which is not to get a Share. I do order and direct that all the yarn that is spun and is to spin shall be divided between my sons Anthony and Samuel and my Daughter Ann equally an William Miller a share equally I publish and declare this and none other to be my Last will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal the fifth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty three.

Huntingdon County. Before me the register for the probate of wills and granting Letters of Administration in act (?) for the County of Huntingdon aforesaid personally Appeared Henry Kimberlin and James Linn Two of the Subscribing Witnesses to the within Instrument of writ.Who upon their solemn Oath and Affirmation respectively do say that they were personally present and did See and hear the Testator George FOUST Sign Seal Publish and declare the within Instrument of writing and for his Last will and Testament and that they the said Henry Kimberlin and James Linn did Subscribe their names thereto as witnesses in the presence of the Testator and at his Insistence and request and also in the presence of Frederick Herman the other Subscribing witness and that the Testator George FOUST was at that time of Sound and disposing mind and memory to the best of their judgment and Belief. Sworn affirmed and Subscribed the 19th July 1823 Before me Dick Smith Register

Memorandum
Letters Testamentary on the Estate of George FOUST dec. were this day granted to Peter Ripple Inventory to be exhibited on or before the 19th day of August Next and a true and just account calculation and reckoning of his said Administration on or before the 19th day of July AD 1824 or when thereto legally required. Given under Seal of Office 19th July AD 1823.
