Shafer, Clarabelle

Clarabelle Shafer, 74, of West Milton, died Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born July 14, 1936 in Bradford. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl Josiah & Ola (Eliker) Petry, brother Delbert Petry. She is survived by her loving family and husband Paul David Shafer, daughters & sons-in-law Joni & Terry Henderson-Washington Court House,OH., Jill & Tim Bailey-Verona,OH., Julie & Dean Helser-West Milton,OH., Janelle Shafer-West Milton,OH., 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, sister & brother-in-law Leota & Wilbur Bevins-New Madison,Oh. She was retired from Hobart Corporation, was a faithful attender of Basore Road Grace Brethren Church, an F.I.S.H. Volunteer, Grace Brethren Village Volunteer, enjoyed cooking & her grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 2, at Basore Road Grace Brethren Church, 5675 Basore Rd., Dayton with Rev. Andy Gannon officiating, burial to follow at Newcomer Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the Hale-Sarver Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street,West Milton.
