Death
Louise Myers Phillips, 78, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 22, 2012.
Ms. Phillips was born on September 11, 1933, in Old Town, Maine. A devoted homemaker, she was a loving and selfless foster mother to over seventy children. Her heart and her passion were taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Henry Phillips; son, Robert Phillips; and parents, Carl Raymond Myers and Rebecca Harding Myers.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved children, Ralph Phillips, Colorado Springs, Colorado, David Phillips (Brenda), Warner Robins, and Cynthia Lane, Pueblo, Colorado; daughter-in-law, Kathy Phillips, Leavenworth, Kansas; brother, David Myers (Deb), Chevy Chase, Maryland; sister, Caroline Parkerson, Granger, Indiana; grandchildren, Christopher Lane, Bethanie Lane, Juliana Phillips, Shane Phillips, Laura Phillips, Natalia Oldson (Mike), Megan Phillips, Joshua Phillips, Nathan Phillips, Carl Phillips, Michelle McEwen, Anna McEwen and Daniel McEwen; and great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Oldson and Anthony Oldson.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2012, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Suite A, Macon GA 31201, or VistaCare Hospice, 319 Margie Drive, Warner Robins GA 31088.
