Death
EMANUEL S. CLAPPER Died at his home in Stonerstown at 10.30 o¹clock yesterday morning of complications. He was born on Jan. 21, 1866, a son of George and Priscilla* CLAPPER. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lavina (Ward) CLAPPER, and five daughters and three sons as follows: Mrs. Clarence RITCHE of Juniata, Mrs.Ben HALL of Yellow Creek, Chalmer and Clyde of New Enterprise, Mrs. Edgar HEETER of Hollidaysburg, Blair Clapper of Yellow Creek, Mrs. Charles FETTERS of Riddlesburg and Miss Harriet CLAPPER of Altoona. He also leaves one brother and a sister, Thomas CLAPPER and Mrs. Harrison ZIMMERMAN* of Yellow Creek . Twenty-four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2.30 o¹clock, in the Yellow Creek Church of the Brethren. Interment will be made in the Steele cemetery.
