Mrs. Sarah BRUMBAUGH died at her home on South Street, Greensburg, Friday, 7 p.m., Oct. 24,1913 of cancer of the stomach, age 78 years, four months, two days. Although she was in failing health for a year, she was confined to her bed only two weeks. She was born at Comet, O., a daughter of John BUCHTEL and granddaughter of Jacob TRITT, who built the first mill at Comet. She was married to Peter LEESER and during his life lived near Canel Fulton, Stark county. Mr. LEESER died 22 years ago. Later she married Andrew BRUMBAUGH and lived at Hartville until the death of Mr. BRUMBAUGH ten years ago, when she moved to Greensburg, where she resided until the time of her death. Five children by her first marriage --- Mrs. Kathryn
DEWEESE of Ashland, O., Mrs. Alma FRY of California, John LEESER of Stark county, Levi LEESER of Green township, and Miss Anna LEESER who lived at home --- are left to mourn her departure, besides 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Arminta ESHELMAN, Akron,
Ind., Mrs. Damiel HARMON, Canal Fulton, Mrs. Freeman DAILY, Comet, and one brother Alfred BUCHTEL, Comet, besides a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 1 p.m. at the house and

All " DEWEESE " should be DEVIES -- Samuel DEVIES married Kathryn LEESER. These were newspaper misspellings. Kathryn should have been Catharine.
