Death
Obituary, Daily Chief Jan. 12, 1905:
MRS. JAMES BOWLBY.
Mrs. James BOWLBY died at her late home, three miles southwest of
Nevada, Wednesday afternoon, at 3 o'clock, from diabetes, with which she had
been suffering for some time.
Mrs. BOWLBY's maiden name was Lillian Elsie KRICHBAUM, and she was the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John KRICHBAUM, of Sycamore. Her age was thirty-four years. On the 31st day of December, 1892, she was married to James BOWLBY.
They were the parents of one child, a daughter, Clara, who is now eight years
of age. Mrs. BOWLBY is also survived by her parents and two brothers,
residing in Sycamore.
The funeral will occur Friday afternoon. At 1 o'clock they will leave the house and go to the Lutheran church, in Nevada, where services will be conducted by Rev. G. W. W. Amick. Interment in Nevada cemetery.
