Death
Grace E. Parsons, 92, of Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg, and formerly of RD, Orbisonia, died at 7:33 p.m. Wednesday, August 16 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Barry Warren, Philadelphia Avenue, Chambersburg.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 19, at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia, with Pastor Dayton Sines and Rev. Ronald Dull officiating. Interment was made in Orbisonia Cemetery.
She was born February 26, 1914 in Cromwell Township, Huntingdon County, she as the daughter of the late Charles E. and Laura J. (Runk) Shope.
Mrs. Parsons was married to L. Herman Parsons on March 21,1932. Mr. Parsons receded her in death on February 22, 1994.
She is survived by two sons: Robert H. Parsons of RD, Orbisonia and James E. arsons of RD, Mapleton and four daughters Mildred M Dell of Shade Gap, Anna G. Zeigler of Chambersburg, Ruth E. Guyer of Hollidaysburg, and Carol J.Warren of Chambersburg. There are numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Parsons has two sisters, Rose Berkich and Mary Roland and one brother, illiam Shope, along with one granddaughter that preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Parsons attended the New Life Fellowship Church of God, Mount Union.
