Death
Miss Nora L. Brumbaugh, a resident of Cassville until several years ago, passed away at 10:45 o'clock Thursday morning, April 15, 1948, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Kyle in Calvin. She had lived with the Kyles for several years. She was born on January 5, 1866, in Hesston, a daughter of Isaac and Priscilla (Stever) Brumbaugh. John S. Brumbaugh of Cassville, a brother, is surviving. Miss Brumbaugh was a member of the James Creek Church of the Brethren. A short prayer service will be held at the McClain funeral home in Cassville on Sunday afternoon at 1:15 o'clock. The funeral service will be in the James Creek Church of the Brethren at three o'clock Sunday. The Rev. H.H. Nye of Huntingdon and the Rev. W.L. Phillips of Cassville will officiate. Burial will be made in the Valley View Cemetery. Friends may call at the McClain funeral home after seven o'clock this evening.
