Death
Laura J. BRUMBAUGH passed away Wednesday, April 25, 1928, in Pomona
hospital, Pomona, Calif., [Los Angeles, Co.] of appendicitis. She was
born in Marklesburg, Huntingdon county, September 27, 1866, a daughter
of Abram and Hannah Brumbaugh REPLOGLE, both deceased. When a young
woman she moved to New Enterprise where she resided until having gone to
Glendora, Calif., where she has been for the past twenty years. She is
survived by these sisters and a brother: Mrs. Agnes SHAVER, of Covina,
Calif.; Mrs. J. W. BAKER, of Waterside, Pa., and M. F. BRUMBAUGH, of
Glendora Calif.; also these stepbrothers, A. T. REPLOGLE, of Waterside,
Pa., and Rev. H. S. REPLOGLE, of Oaks, Pa. She united with the Church
of the Brethren in early life and was a faithful and consistent member
until death. She was of a quiet disposition and respected by all who
knew her. Funeral services were held from the home of her brotehr, M.
F. BRUMBAUGH, and interment made in the Glendora cemetery."
