Death
Rev. Darleigh B. Replogle
MECHANICSBURG - Rev. Darleigh B. REPLOGLE, 85, of 587 Locust Lane Messiah Village, Mechanicsburg, formerly of Lewistown, PA died Saturday, Oct. 16, 1999, at the village, following an extended illness.
Born Aug. 14, 1914, in Woodbury, he was the son of the late David and Olive (BLOOM) REPLOGLE. His wife, Emilie (KEPHART) REPLOGLE, whom he married Sept. 26, 1943, in Blandburg, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Dorcas KNUTSEN and Deborah HOLLINGER, both of Denver, Pa., Darlene BYLER, Akron, Pa., Dwight B. REPLOGLE, Elliottsburg, and David D. REPLOGLE, Oxford; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He retired after working 30 years as pastor of the Brethren in Christ Church, McVeytown, PA.
He was also a member of Pleasant Valley Brethren in Christ Church, Elliottsburg.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Messiah Village Brethren in Christ Chapel, Mechanicsburg, PA with the Rev. C. Ronald Burgard and the Rev. Randy Tolley officiating. Interment will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Dry Hill Cemetery, Woodbury RR.
Friends may call from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury and from 9 a.m. until the time of the services Wednesday at the Messiah Village Chapel, Mechanicsburg.
