Death
MIFFLINTOWN - Susan Ann "Susie" Yocum, 29, of Mifflintown RR1 died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1999, as a result of a fire at her home.
Born Oct. 2, 1970, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of Gary L. Snook of 440 S. Juniata St., Lewistown, and the late Carol (White) Snook. Her husband, Christopher A. "Yogi" Yocum, whom she married on Oct. 23, 1993, survives.
Also surviving are: sisters and a brother, Heidi Weyant, McClure RR2, Gary L. Snook Jr., Lewistown, and Christie Snook, Lewistown; stepmother, Linda Snook, 440 S. Juniata St., Lewistown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her son, Samuel Allen "Sammy" Yocum, also died Oct. 20, 1999, as a result of the fire at their home.
She was a 1988 graduate of Lewistown Area High School and a 1992 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown Campus, with a Bachelor of Science in business.
She was employed as assistant manager at Sheetz, Inc., Electric Avenue, Lewistown.
She was a member of Samuel's United Church of Christ, McClure.
The funeral service is at 2 p.m. Sunday at Samuel's Cemetery, McClure, with the Rev. Clark S. Kelsey officiating.
There will be no public viewing.

Hoentine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
