Cassville, Wis. - Murten J. SLAGHT, 66, of Rt. 1 died Sunday at Lancaster (Wis.) Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church, Lancaster, with burial in the Beetown (Wis.) Cemetery, where the presentation of the flag will be made by the Beetown (Wis.) American Legion. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Harris and Wepking Funeral Home, Lancaster.
He was a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, the former Linda YOOSE; a daughter, Mrs. David (Judy) McGALLIARD of Conifer, Colo.; a son, Rodney at home; three grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Mildred SLAGHT of Lancaster; three sisters, Mrs. Louie (Grace) BELSCAMPER and Mrs. Stanley (Charlotte) SMITH, both of Lancaster, and Mrs. Ruth CHAPMAN of Darlington, and three brothers, Forest Sr. of Lancaster, and Davis and Robert, both of Beetown.
