Death
Charles R. BAKER of Todd died on Friday, January 22, 1943 at his late home. He had been ill for one month. He was born on October 1, 1868 at Newburg, a son of John H. and Catherine Anderson BAKER. He was married to Mary BRUMBAUGH who died on October 26, 1938. Surviving are two sons, Carl BAKER of Cassville and Roy BAKER of Saltillo, and two daughters, Mrs. (Irene) Ernest HOUCK and Mrs.(Edna) Delmar WOOD, both of Robertsdale. There are 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother, T. H. BAKER of Lewisburg and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie WRIGHT of Los Angeles, Cal., and Ruth BAKER of Todd, who resides with her brother.
He was the oldest member of the Newburg Methodist Church. He lived in Robertsdale from 1928 until 1939.
