Death
Wilbur Austin Brumbaugh of Howard, Centre County, A for-mer resident of Mapleton, died at his home at 5 a. m. Tuesday, February 19, 1957. He died unexpectedly of a heart attack. Mr. Brumbaugh had not been ill. He was born at Mapleton Depot on June 2, 1898, a son of William W. and Effie Miller Brumbaugh. He was married to Iva Marie Mann of Howard on Jan 17, 1923. In addition lo his wife, he is survived by three sons, Wilbur ,Jr., George W. and Harold M., all of Howard and four daughters Phyllis M. of Lewistown, Caroline L., Mary Lou and Sarah A all of Howard. There two grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, Sherman M. of Riverton, New Jersey; Robert C of Clearwater, Florida and Leslie C of Alexandria. Mr. Brumbaugh was s member of the Methodist Church in Howard and a member of the 1OOF Lodge No. 468 In Mapleton, he was employed as a lineman for 25 years West Penn Power Company in Bellefonte. Funeral services will be held in Howard. The Rev. t W. llngham wlH officiate and interment will be in the Schenck Cemetery.
