Death
MANCEL EDMOND PITTSENBARGER
Mancel Edmond PITTSENBARGER, 55, Maryville, died at 1:25 a. m., today at the St. Francis Hospital where he had been a patient 1-1/2 days, following a long illness.
He was born Feb 4, 1919, on a farm near Ravenwood, the son of the late Leonard H. and Mabel Morrison PITTSENBARGER. On March 15, 1943, he was married to Miss Mildred B. FANSHER at St. Joseph, and they have resided in Maryville since 1945. He had lived in the Ravenwood, Stanberry, and Maryville areas all of his life.
An electrician, he was employed with the Stanberry Light and Power Co. and the Nodaway Worth Electric Cooperative for 16 years. After giving up his own electrical business, he was the electrician for the St. Francis Hospital.
After graduating from the Stanberry High School, he studied numerous electrical courses at Maryville.
A member of the Maryville First Christian Church, he was a veteran of the U. S. Army in World War II, a member of the Nodaway Masonic Lodge, and a member and past patron of Rosanna Chapter, order of the Eastern Star.
Besides his wife of the home, he is survived by two sons, Gary PITTSENBARGER, New York City, N. Y., and Roger PITTSENBARGER, Aurora, Ill; one daughter, Mrs. Marsha EITZMANN, Omaha, Neb.; two sisters, Mrs. Lettye BLACK, Turtle Creek, Pa., and Miss Beverly PITTSENBARGER, Kansas City; one brother, Bob PITTSENBARGER, Kansas City, and three grandchildren.
