Alice Vesta PLOTNER
(9 SEP 1900 - 11 NOV 2000)
Alice Vesta's obituary mentions two surviving sisters, who were the children of Florence Ruth Plotner and Nathanial Oaks. Of course, since Alice lived to be 100 years old, relatives might not have remembered exactly who her parents and siblings were. In 1930, Alice and her husband are listed as members of the household of Clara Plotner (then Hoffner), and Alice is then listed as Clara's sister. Both Florence and Clara were children of John W. Plotner and Margaret Cooper Nofsker. In 1910, Vesta A. with a matching birth date is listed as the granddaughter of John W. and Magraret, so it gets even more complicated and confusing.
