1845 No. 118. The petition of William Davis. was read, setting forth that he is a minor son of John Davis deceased above fourteen years of age and has no guardian to take care of his person and estate, And praying the court to permit him to choose some suitable person for the purposes aforesaid and the said minor appearing in Court made choice of William Williams. Whereupon 17th June 1845 the Court appointed the said William Williams to be guardian of the said minor and directed him to give bond in $400, with surety. And now 5th July 1845 Bond filed accordingly..
