Death
Mrs. Ida Parks SHULTZ, widow of Jackson D. SHULTZ, died at her home in Entriken at 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 3, 1945. She was born on March 15, 1870, the daughter of Anthony PARKS and Nancy Showalter PARKS. Her husband preceded her in death in 1930. She had lived in Entriken for nearly fifty years and had a host of friends there who will mourn her passing. She was a highly respected citizen and a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Earl STEEL, Entriken; and Mrs. Charles DAVIS, Lewistown R.D.3; also surviving are two grandsons in the service: Lt. Nelson J. DAVIS, serving in the air
corps and stationed in Florida; and Pvt. Glenn J. STEEL, with the First Army in Germany.
The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday in the Methodist Church in Entriken, the Rev. C.A. HUYETTE, pastor of the Evangelical and Reformed Church in Marklesburg, officiating. Interment will be made in the Entriken Cemetery. Friends may call at the late home in Entriken until two o'clock on Saturday.
