Marilyn Packard was born in Kingston, Pennsylvania. She married her husband in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania on August 20, 1950. She was a military wife and moved to Central Texas in 1965, where she attended the Soldiers of the Cross Cowboy Fellowship Church. Mrs. Packard was a member of organizations such as the, A.B.W.A., and a charter member of the Lady's Auxiliary VFW Post 10377. She was a girl scout leader and cub scout mom and sponsored many soccer teams. She loved cross stitching, reading, plastic canvas, crosswords, and keeping up with her grandkids and great grandkids. Marilyn passed away on Easter Sunday at her home in Belton. Memorial services were held Thursday, April 24, 2014, at Soldiers of the Cross Cowboy Fellowship Church, 14788 FM 439, Nolanville, Texas 76559, with Danny Brey officiating. Dossman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Survivors include her three daughters, one brother, one sister, and seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. dossmanfh.com
