Fannie's mother and father emigrated to Portage Co., Ohio in 1838 from New York. In the fall of 1841, they moved to DeKalb Co., Indiana.
Aaron and Fannie traveled back and forth between Wilmington Township and Sturgis. After Aaron died, Fannie and her 3 boys moved to Sturgis, Michigan, where she later remarried Orin Brooks, from Sturgis. He helped raise the boys.
