Death
Patricia Ann Wilson Davis, 87, of Lewistown, passed away at 1:47 a.m.,
Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born July 12, 1930, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Lee Roy and Marie (Bowlby) Wilson.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 68 years, Jesse Franklin Davis, whom she married on July 10, 1949.
She is survived by her children, Richard L. (Margaret Petrie) Davis and
Rhonda L. Davis Esq. (Benjamin) Sweeney; grandchildren, Emily K. Davis (Lucas) Newcomer, Libby C. McCardle (John) McDuling, Adrienne J. McCardle, Britt P. McCardle and Jess P. (Brittany Jerlat) Davis; stepgrand- children Margaret Sweeney (Mike) Pfitzenmaier, Sarah Sweeney (Brad) Cascagnette, Jessica Sweeney (Alex) Hoover; great grandchildren, Zachary L., Kathryn E. and Anna G. Newcomer, and Grace E. and Eleanor R. McDuling; and stepgreat-grandchildren, Lillian, Jackson and Trent Pfitzenmaier, Carter Cascagnette and Vivian and Alicia Hoover.
She is also survived by her sisters, Dorene (Wilson) Tate, Judy Wilson
Kratzer (Donald) Singer and a brother, Joe (Sandra) Wilson; sisters-in-law, Joyce Goss (the late William) Davis, Lucille Johnson (the late Harold)
Davis, Saundra (Gary) Showers and Patricia (Richard) Erhard.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Lee M. (Betty Albright) Wilson; and brothers-in-law, Kenneth (Judy) Kratzer and Lee (Dorene) Tate.
Patricia graduated from Yeagertown High School Class of 1948, where she was a member of the girls’ basketball team and a cheerleader.
She had been employed in secretarial and bookkeeping positions at Krentzman Supply, Burnham Borough, Servomation and Burgard Apartments.
She was a charter member of Calvary Bible Church.
There will be no viewing, and a memorial service will be announced at a
later date. Interment will be in Fort Indiantown Gap Cemetery; her husband, Jesse, is a World War II Veteran.
