William H. Wilson passed away Friday, March 14, 2014, at Aria Torresdale Hospital. He was 88.
Bill resided in the Delaware Valley Veterans Home.
He was a World War II Marine Corps veteran, serving in the South Pacific.
Bill may be remembered by many from Wilson's Corner Service Station and Ice Cream Stand in Fairless Hills, of which he was so proud.
He was an avid golfer, and was proud to have the unique distinction of having four holes-in-one.
Bill will always be remembered as a caring, kind and generous person whose primary love in life was that of his family. He also loved animals.
He is survived by his loving companion and best friend of many years, Joyce Smith; and his adopted family, Darby and Dr. Ted Mazzarisi and his loves, Mackenzie, John and Addison.
Born in Yeagerstown, Pa., to William Wilson and Clara Fultz Wilson, he is survived by brothers, Richard and Gerald Wilson; sons, Ronald and Michael; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held promptly at 10 a.m. Tuesday, in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 850 Highland Road, Newtown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA, 424 E. 92nd St., New York, NY 10128-6804.
