BOWLBY, Marion Elizabeth - 84, Black Rock, Kings County, died Thursday in Western Kings Memorial Hospital, Berwick. Born in Wallbrook Mountian, she was a daughter of the late James and Catherine (Messom) Berry. She is survived by six sons, Dale, Black Rock; Gordon, Glenmont Mountain; Wesley, Carl, Frank, John, all of Ontario; seven daughters, Bertha (Mrs. William Urquhart), Berwick; Verna May (Mrs. Joseph Wheaton), Waterville; Hazel (Mrs. Bruce England), Frona (Mrs. Carleton Gates), both of Port Williams; Phyllis (Mrs. Lloyd Legge), Lake Paul; Jeannie (Mrs. Eric Doyle), North Alton; 32 grandchildren; several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Azurie Smith; her second husband, Vernon Bowlby; a daughter, Bearice; four brothers, Kenneth, Melbourne, James, William; five sisters, Lena, Catherine, Hilda, Doll, Bess. The body is in H. C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, Berwick, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday; funeral 2 p.m. Monday in Black Rock Baptist Church, Rev. Leo Fletcher officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Donations to Nova Scotia Heart Foundation, Canadian Diabetic Association or Valley Regional Hospital building fund.
