Death
Mrs. Lila Pearle Brindle of Entriken died in the Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring at 4 p. m. yesterday, March 27, 1945.
She was born in Lincoln Township, Huntingdon County, on October 17, 1897, the daughter of Wilbert and Bessie Morningstar.
Surviving are her husband, George W. Brindle, to whom she was united in marriage on January 3, 1917. and these sons and daughters: Ot's W. Brindle, Hummel; Mrs. Alfred Riley, Aitch; Mrs. Bertrin McCall, Baltimore, Md.; Mrs. Clinton Wolf, Aitch; Pvt. Harry D. Brindle, Camp Howze, Tex; Seaman Gerald F. Brindle, somewhere in the South Pacific; Sarah M. Brindle, Aitch; Ralph EC Brindle, Lillian R. Brindle and Wanda J. Brindle, all at home. A son, Seaman 2'c Randall Brindle was recently reported killed in action in the South Pacific.
Also surviving are two sisters and a brother: Mrs. Frederick Park, Huntingdon; Mrs. Peter M. Brulia, Turtle Creek; and Paul F. Cunningham. Huntingdon.
Mrs. Brindle was a member of the Methodist Church, Entriken.
The funeral service will be held at 2:30 Saturday afternoon at the Reformed Church at Entriken, the Rev. Dean Krepps officiating. Interment will be made in the Entriken Cemetery by Huff's funeral service. Friends may call at the late home after one o'clock Thursday afternoon.
