Death
Betty R. Logue, 91, formerly of Huntingdon, died on Dec. 22, 2018, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital after a brief illness.
For the past two years, she made her home with her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Carol Morningstar, of Lewistown, and for the past three months, she resided at Ohesson Manor.
Born Feb. 11, 1927, in Bradford, McKean County, she was the daughter of Clyde and Gertrude (Tarbell) Rohland. She came to live in Huntingdon in 1931 and lived there for over 85 years. She was married twice, first to David Morningstar, and secondly to Robert Logue, both of whom preceded her in death.
In addition to her son, she is survived by three other children; nine grandchildren, including Elizabeth James and husband, Mark, of Lewistown, and Jonathan Morningstar and wife, Amanda, of McConnellstown; ten great-grandchildren, including Cameron James and Dietrich Morningstar; and three great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers of Ohesson Manor and the nurses, doctors and staff at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital for their compassionate, loving care extended to her during the days of her final illness.
Services were held in Huntingdon and interment was in Cherry Grove Cemetery, near Three Springs.
