Death
LEWISTOWN - Sara A. Singley, 87, of 1496 Back Maitland Rd., Lewistown, died at 10:30 p.m. Monday, march 25, 2002, at her residence. Born Sept. 18, 1914, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Elder M. and Louise J. (Gearhart) Singley. Surviving are: a sister, Betty F. Singley, Ohesson Manor, Lewistown, and a brother, Elder M. Singley, Lewistown. She was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Smith, in 1981. She was a homemaker. She was a Protestant by faith. Her funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown. Interment will be in Mt. Rock Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of the service Saturday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to: SPCA, 2451 General Potter Highway, Centre Hall, PA 16828.
