Death
Mrs. Eliza Jane Brumbaugh of Stonerstown, Saxton, R. D., died on Thursday evening, June 25, 1953, at 8:45 o'clock, as she was being rushed. to the J. C. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. She was dead upon arrival at the hospital. . The decreased had been in failing health and she was stricken with an acute thrombosis at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lester A. Kephart in Alexandria, where she had been making her home. The dead woman was born on November 15, 1872 in Liberty Township, Bedford County, a daughter of William and Mary C. (Walters) Reed, She was united in marriage to Levi C. Brumbaugh on, April 5, 1899 and he preceded her in death in March, 1904. She was a faithful member of the Stonerstown Church of the Brethren. She was a highly esteemed resident of the community She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lester A Kephart of Alexandia and two brothers, Samuel and Charles Reed, both of Saxton.Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 pm at the Robert E. Huff funeral chapel in Saxton. The Rev Paul Dilling, will officiate and interment will be made in the Brumbaugh Cemetery at Saxton,
