Death
Goldie June Wagner, 94, of Lewistown, went to be with her Lord at 1:42 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at Ohesson Manor.
She was born May 7, 1922, in Shindle, the daughter of Frederick Shively and Ruth (Libby) Shively. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fred T. Wagner on June 28, 2005. They were married Aug. 27, 1939 in Elkton Md.
She is survived by daughters, Gloria J. Stuck, of Lewistown and Brenda W. Heath, of Milroy; grandchildren, Holly June Bower and husband, Terry, Joyce A. Spigelmyer and husband, Paul, Scott T. Stuck and wife, Nancy, Gregory D. Stuck and wife, Crystal, Sarah Jane Aumiller and husband, Chris; great-grandchildren, Amy J. Miller, Christa J. Tate, Jennifer A. Hubler, James D. Jumper, Dara D. Walters, Ashley M. Stuck, Lauren M. Stuck, Scott T. Stuck, Jr., Emma J. Aumiller, Hannah J. Aumiller, Baily D. Stuck, Mya C. Aumiller; great-great-grandchildren, Deegan Tate, Taryn Miller, Gracee Tate, Novaleigh Hubler, Raegan Hubler, Blayden Hubler and Tatum Miller.
Goldie is also survived by special nieces and nephews, Harry "Buzz" Wagner, Marlene Wilson, Carol Litz, Larry Wagner, Cindy Bobb, Douglas Knepp and Harry Aurand.
She was the last of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.
Goldie was primarily a homemaker. She was one of the original waitresses at Red's Diner and held a number of other small jobs. She lived a very Christian life. She was a loving, generous caretaker to many families and children over the years. She loved everyone she ever met and everyone loved her. She was very well known for her beautiful singing and whistling and overall loving good nature. She was part of a small singing group at Ohesson Manor called "The Golden Girls."
Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Henderson Funeral Home, Belleville with Pastor Harold Sharp and Rev. Debra Ernst officiating. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, Milroy. Her family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
