"Widow of Samuel Bowlby who was a Private and I can not make out the
rest of his rank is entitled to a pension at the rate of Eight dollars
per month to commence on the thirtieth day of March 1883 and twelve
dollars per month after March 19th, 1886. and to continue during her
widowhood until she shall forfeit her right thereto. And she is also
entitled to two dollars per month additional for each of the following
named children while living and under the age of sixteen years, to wit:
Joseph R. Bowlby starting 30th March 1883 until 3 February 1896."
