LEE BOWLBY, FORMER BUCKLIN RESIDENT, DIES
Lee BOWLBY, a resident of Dodge City since he moved here from Bucklin in 1942, died Saturday evening at his home. He was 68 years old and was unmarried.
He was born at Belvidere, Kans., and moved with his family to a ranch 18 miles south east of Bucklin in 1909. After the death of his father, Mr. BOWLBY moved to Bucklin with his mother until she died in 1920.
Survivers include two sisters, Mrs. Emma TELFER, Albuquerque, N.M., and Mrs. Mattie PENNYCUFF, Olney, Ill., five niece and six nephews, among whom are Mrs. Ernest DUNCAN of Meade, Samuel BOWLBY of Bucklin, and F A BOWLBY of Ashland.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. in Bucklin, with the Rev. S W Neely officiating. Burial, to be in charge of the Hulpieu-Swain funeral home, will be in the Bucklin Cemetery.
