"Aug. 9, 1938 - March 23, 2010 - Marion Alice (Grubb) Moffat, 71, Pennknoll Village, Everett [Bedford Co, PA], formerly of Wells Tannery [Fulton Co, PA], died Tuesday morning at the village. She was born in Roaring Spring [Blair Co, PA], daughter of the late Lloyd and Mary (Brumbaugh) Grubb. She married Glenn Moffat on Oct. 29, 1990. Surviving are two daughters: Carolyn McConaughy and husband, Mike, of James Creek and Marilyn Replogle and husband, Bob, of Roaring Spring; five grandchildren: David Replogle of Belle Haven, Va., Walter Dean "Deano" Lemin of Everett, Victoria Lemin in Florida, Adam Replogle of Belle Haven, Va., and Brandyn Replogle of Roaring Spring; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two granddaughters: Karen (Lemin) Gerholt and Rachel Lynn Replogle. Marion was a 1956 graduate of Morrisons Cove High School and a 1959 graduate of Shippensburg University. She had been employed at Bob Evans in Breezewood, Seton Co. in Saxton and Cove Shoe Co. in Martinsburg. She was a member of the Wells Valley Presbyterian Church. She dearly loved her family and her cats. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 25, 2010, and 10 to the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, March 26, 2010, at Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc., Broad Top, Pastor Don Cross officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc., P.O. Box 214, Broad Top, PA 16621, to help defray funeral expenses."
