Death
Albert L. Brindle, 66, of Entriken died Monday, Decemeber 11, 1967, at 4:15 p.m. at his home. He had been in failing health for the past several years.
Born August 13, 1901, at Entriken, he was a son of Harry W. and Nancy (Everhart) Brindle. He was united in marriage to Grace E. Snarr on September 15, 1922, at the Methodist parsonage in Huntingdon by the Rev. Joseph Price.
His wife survives, along with one son, Gerald C. Brindle of Frederick, Md. There is one granddaughter.
Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: Harry F. Brindle and Mrs. Charles (Minnie) Fisher, both of Aitch; Mrs. Zelda Enyeart, James Creek,; Charles W. Brindle, Pitcairn and Mrs. Mary Parks, San Diego, Calif. Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
The deceased belonged to the Entriken Methodist Church, of which he was a lifelong member. He had served on the board of trustees of the church. He was a member of the Marklesburg Volunteer Fire Company.
Brindle had retired from employment with the Pennsylvania Department of Highways four years ago.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 14, at 11 a.m. from the Masood funeral chapel, Saxton. The Rev. Frank S. Crawford will officiate and interment will be made in Entriken Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral chapel after 7 p.m. Wednesday and until the hour of the services on Thursday.
