Death
Helen Louise (Neville) Ford, 77, of Saxton died Sunday, May 1, 2005, at the Altoona Center for Nursing Care. A funeral was held Wednesday at the Coalmont United Methodist Church by Rev. Todd Templeton. Burial was in the Broad Top IOOF Cemetery. Mrs. Ford was born Feb. 11, 1928, in North Point, Bedford County, a daughter of Ralph and Reba (Foster) Neville. She married C. Leroy Ford on April 17, 1946, in Winchester, Va. She is survived by her husband. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Olive Mae in 1959; two sisters, Fay Neville and Donna Helsel; and a brother, Fred Neville. She was a 1944 graduate of Saxton-Liberty High School. She also was a graduate of the Altoona Beauty School. She was employed for a long number of years at Elco, Huntingdon. She also served as a correspondent for the Daily News of Huntingdon and the Broad Top Bulletin of Saxton. She was a member of the Coalmont United Methodist Church.
