GEORGE H. BOWLBY, 87,
EX-SALESMAN, DOVER
MENDHAM--Services for George H. Bowlby , 87, of E. Main St., retired salesman, will be tomorrow, 2 PM. at the Memorial Presbyterian Church, Dover, of which he had been a 50-year member.
He died Friday Sept. 11, 1959, at Morristown Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
Born in Asbury Park Mr. Bowlby moved to Mendham nine years ago from Dover where he spent most of his life. He had been a salesman for furniture and floor covering stores in Dover.
Surviving are his wife Gertrude; two brothers, Rev. Harry L. of Poughkeepsie, NY and Roscoe of Elizabeth.
Reposing at the Raymond A Lanterman & Son Funeral Home, 126 South St., Morristown.
DAILY RECORD
In the death notice the only thing different than the obit above is wife listed as Gertrude V. Bowlby.
AND Interment in Methodist Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Dover, N.J.
