Death
Freeman L. Horchler, 84, of Salisbury, died Oct. 20, 1999 at Meyersdale Medical Center. Born Dec. 12, 1914 in Salisbury. A son of the late Samuel and Mary (Baum) Horchler. Also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Livengood. Survived by his wife the former Thelma L. Klink. A brother of: Clark B. Horchler, Millersburg; Maythorne Brenaman, Grantsville, Md.; Mary Keiffer, Harrisburg; Hazel Beever, York; and Ruth Haning, Woodstock, Ill.
Also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. Mr. Horchler was a retired farmer and a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, with the Pastor Ray Brown officiating. Interment Salisbury Cemetery. Memorials may take the form of contributions to the St. John's United Church of Christ, Ord St., Salisbury, Pa. 15558.
