Death
Obituary of Ada M. BAKER
Mrs. Ada M. BAKER, 85, of New Enterprise, died Tuesday, April 10, 2001, at Long's Rest Home, Bedford RD 1.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the New Enterprise church of the Brethren by Rev. Wayne Brockway.
Burial will be in the New Enterprise Cemetery.
Mrs. BAKERaker was born Sept. 29, 1915, in Union Township, a daughter of John Calvin and LaMatilda T. (Yarnell) STIFFLER.
She married Gerald E. BAKER on March 27, 1937, in Bedford. He died Sept. 26, 1976.
She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Jean MARCOCCI of Dudley, Janet L. WYLES of Roaring Spring RD and Darlene M. KAGARISE of Woodbury; two sons, Richard E. and Dale A., both of New Enterprise; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She also is survived by two sisters, a twin Annie MATICIC of Sidman, Cambria County, and Ethel RANKER of Osterburg.
She was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters and also a grandson, Matthew BAKER.
She was a member of the New Enterprise Chruch of the Brethren and its quilting group.
