Death
Obituary for Donald "Don" H. ELY:Graveside services for Don H. ELY, formerly 402 Gill Ave. will be held in Fairview Cemetery Tuesday at 10 a.m. Mr. Ely died Sunday at 3:50 p.m. in Rosewood Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness.
He was employed at Galion Telephone Company and North Electric Company before his retirement and resided here all his life. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War I and a member of Gelion Elks No. 1191.
Born in Galion May 11, 1888 he was the son of John D. and Anna B. (Neff) ELY.
Rev. Maurice Champion, pastor of Grace Episcopal Church will officiate at the graveside.
The Snyder-Kuback Funeral Home staff was in charge of arrangements. There will be no calling hours.
