Family-Placed Obituary
BROMBAUGH, Vera Klepinger Mitchell age 95, formerly of Germantown, died September 13th, 2005, at Trinity Community of Beavercreek, where she had resided since 1997. She was born on July 31, 1910 to Edwin F. and Edna Filbrun KLEPINGER. Vera graduated from Trotwood Madison High School where she was later employed as a secretary. She was also a graduate of Miami University and Miami-Jacobs Business College. She was a former member of Hillcrest Brethren Church in Dayton, and United Church of Sun City, Arizona, where she had lived in the wintertime. She enjoyed music, especially playing the organ, and belonged to a ladies organ group. Her first husband, Constantine MITCHELL, preceded her in death in 1972. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Burlin BROMBAUGH; daughter Ann MITCHELL of Hilliard; two step-sons, John and wife Christa BROMBAUGH of Eugene, OR, and Dr. Mark BROMBAUGH and wife, the Rev. Kathryn NICHOLS of Norwalk, CT; step-daughter Jo Ann and husband John WHITTMAN of Lanham, MD; three step-grandchildren, Eric (Jill KUESTER) BROMBAUGH of Mesa, AZ, Daniel (Rachael) BROMBAUGH of Seattle, WA, and Adrienne (Paul) WIEBUSCH, of London, and two step great-grandchildren, Molly BROMBAUGH and Johann WIEBUSCH. Vera was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Germantown where memorial services will be held on Tuesday, September 20, at 11:00 a.m., with the Dr. Rev. Larry Grunden and the Rev. Mark Williams officiating. A private interment was held at Bearcreek Hillgrove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the memorial fund of St. John's United Church of Christ. Arrangements by Arpp & Root Funeral Home in Germantown.
