Wendy Ranger: Lucy remarried . Her first husband died before my Father was born. Her second husband was named Charles Gardner. She had a second family. 5 half brothers and sisters for my father. I am told she died after having an abortion during the depression here in NZ. She decided they couldn't afford another mouth to feed. Sady she died days later. She is buried in Waikumete cemetary.
