This is Katie De Haan's line and she has researched that he was a Watch Case Maker, Silversmith, and in the 1841 census she found him as a watchmaker living with Susannah and children at 14 Wenlock Road (looks like Henlock) Hoxton New Town, St Leonard's St Luke's Shoreditch. 1861 living at 13 Nelson St City Road,Finsbury, watchcasemaker, Jo app wcm & Wm app silversmith. [1861 sons Jo & Wm living in Wenlock Rd again now nr 8 watchcasemaker and silversmith] His son may be Joseph Jackson, silversmith, 58 in 1891, married to Christiana.
