| Life sketch | Marie-Francoise Jeanne Chiasson-dite-Lavalle was born 1668 in Port Royal, Annapolis, Canada. She was the second child of Guyon Denis Chiasson-dite-Lavalle 1638 and Jeanne Marie Bernard 1643. She had four brothers (Gabriel Pierre Chiasson about 1667, Sébastien Chiasson about 1670, Jean Chiasson about 1674, Michel Chiasson about 1677) and four sisters (Baby Twin Chiasson 1672, Marie Angelique Chiasson about 1678, Marie Anne Chiasson Lavallée about 1680, Marguerite Chiasson about 1682). When she was 14 years old, her mother Jeanne Marie Bernard died (1682). When she was 23 years old, her father Guyon Denis Chiasson-dite-Lavalle died (15 April 1692). On 11/8/1682, she married Pierre Morin-Boucher 1662 in Beaubassin, , Yarn, New France. She was 14 years old when she married Pierre Morin-Boucher, who was 20 years old at that time. On 4/15/1730, she died in Saint-Thomas-de-la-Pointe-à-la-Caille, Québec, Canada, New France when she was 61 years old. On 4/15/1730, she was buried in Saint-Thomas-de-la-Pointe-à-la-Caille, Québec, Canada, New France. Her husband Pierre Morin-Boucher died on 04/15/1741, 11 years after her. |
