Nicolas Gamache

Sieur de L'Islet. Information provided by Paula Geary notes: Élisabeth and Nicolas died within a few days of each other. At the time of their deaths she was 39 year and 3 months old, and he was 60 years and 6 months old. A notation on Élisabeth's burial record reads "décédée d'une mort subite." Since Nicolas died just a week later, perhaps he could just not go on without her. They had been together for just 17 days less than 23 years.
