Charles Cloutier

(3 May 1629 - 5 Jun 1709)

Charles [born 3 May 1629] was not interested in farming, so he too became a carpenter. On 20 April 1659 he married Louise Morin, the daughter of Noël and of Hélène Desportes who, as Hélène Langlois, was generally recognized to have been the first white child born in New France. Charles and Louise had 13 childlren, 6 boys and 7 girls. Charles died on 5 June 1709 and Louise on 29 Apr 1713.
