Life sketchTexte en français suivra (incertitude sur ses origines) Robert Boulet was a plowsman by trade. He emigrated to New France (Canada) with his wife, and their young daughter, Jacqueline, arriving in Québec on November 16, 1663, and moved to the Isle of Orlean. On the June 19th 1681, he received a piece of land from Seigneur Couillard in Montmagny and settled there right away. NOTE: The 'Fichier Origine' and 'Nosorigines' websites (see sources attached) both state his parents were Marin Boullay and Charlotte Gratessac (not the parents named on this site). Fichier Origine further notes that Marin was baptised on 07 January 1589 at the parish of Notre-Dame in Mortagne-au-Perche, in Perche (present-day Normandy). Marin's parents (Robert's grandparents) were Marin Boullay, merchant and Madeleine Creste. En Français : "Robert Boulet était laboureur de métier. Il émigre en Nouvelle-France (Canada) avec sa femme et leur jeune fille, Jacqueline, arrivant à Québec le 16 novembre 1663 et s'installe sur l'île d'Orléans. Le 19 juin 1681, il reçoit un terrain du seigneur Couillard à Montmagny et s'y installe aussitôt. REMARQUE: Les sites Web «Fichier Origine» et «Nosorigines» (voir sources ci-jointes) indiquent tous deux que ses parents étaient Marin Boullay et Charlotte Gratessac (et non les parents nommés sur ce site). Fichier Origine note en outre que Marin a été baptisé le 07 janvier 1589 à la paroisse Notre-Dame de Mortagne-au-Perche, dans le Perche (aujourd'hui Normandie). Les parents de Marin (les grands-parents de Robert) étaient Marin Boullay, marchand et Madeleine Creste." Il se marie sous Robert Boullay, témoins (5), dont Gilles Garnier; acte de mariage non filiatif. Leur fille Jacquine/Jacqueline Boulay (pionnière), est née le 09-04-1659, baptisée le 10-04-1659 à Loisé (St-Germain), cne de Mortagne-au-Perche. Leur fils Jean est baptisé le 29-09-1661 à Coulimer (St-Pierre) (61129). Son père Marin Boullay (Marin, marchand et Madeleine Creste), est baptisé le 07-01-1589 à Mortagne-au-Perche (Notre-Dame) (61293).
