Pierre Boucher Morin

(1634 - 1690)

In the spring of 1688, he was forced to forfeit property and possessions and was exiled from Acadie, along with his children and grandchildren, some 19 people, roughly a third of the population, on account of accusations against his son Louis. Quebec senior officials took pity on the family and assisted them in reestablishing themselves there.
