Charles Melanson

(1675 - 9 Sep 1757)

In the deportation of the Acadiens, in 1755, Charles was put aboard the ship (Pembroke) which was to transport him and all passengers to North Carolina. However, the Acadiens took over the ship and sailed to St-John`s river and eventually made their way to Quebec city where he died.
