David Béliveau

(3 Jul 1746 - 15 Mar 1813)

After being deported to Boston, he returned to Canada and settled in St‑Grégoire de Nicolet in 1765. One of his descendants, Jean Béliveau, became a famous hockey player for the Montréal Canadiens. David was the first Béliveau to establish himself in St‑Grégoire.
