Anne Aymard

father died at Niort some time before 29 March 1631 and her mother married tailor Antoine Lebrun. Her mother was still alive on 21 May 1648, when sister Barbe married Olivier Le Tardiff at La Rochelle. Sister Madeleine had married Zacharie Cloutier the month before in La Rochelle. Anne left for New France with her older sisters and their husbands later in 1648.
On 16 November 1649, Abbe Le Sueur celebrated the mariage of Anne and Guillaume Couture in the groom's home at Lauzon, though the act is recorded in the registers of Notre-Dame de Quebec. It is not known if Anne could sign the marriage contract drawn up 18 November by notary Adouart, but her husband could.
