Pierre Thibodeau

Windmill owner, Pierre`s origins are unknown but many assume that he was from the region of Poitou in France, where most Acadians come from. We do not know his date of arrival but it had to have been prior to 1660. He founded Chipoudy, Acadie (Shepody Bay, New Brunswick) THe is the father of sixteen children, seven sons and nine daughters.
