| Life sketch | Jean Baptiste was the son of Robert Caron and Marie Crevet. He was baptized on Jul 10, 1641, at Basilique-Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Québec, his godparents being Jean Caron and Elizabeth Couillard. On Nov 16, 1661, he married Marguerite Gagnon, daughter of Jean Gagnon and Marguerite Cauchon, at Visitation-de-Notre-Dame-de- Château-Richer.
